I Need Your Help: My Personal Appeal
Please consider helping me continue and expand my efforts to investigate and expose the RSS
This is Pieter Friedrich.
I’m speaking to you today because I need your help.
If I look tired, it is because I am tired. The past several months have been exhausting, and yet unbelievably rewarding.
I’m a freelance journalist who is committed to bold, factual, aggressive and adversarial journalism.
I specialize in analysis of affairs in South Asia, but my analysis has a specific purpose: to advocate for human rights and expose those who violate them. I believe it is the duty of a journalist to investigate the powerful.
Today, the most powerful nation in South Asia is controlled by one of the most powerful fascist forces in the world: the RSS.
And yet the RSS is not just confined to India.
Over the past two years, I have focused on documenting the RSS’s presence, activities, and ambitions in the United States. Those efforts have born fruit.
I plan to not only continue but expand those efforts. But — as I am donor-supported — I need your help to do so.
Your support not only encourages me but empowers me to forge ahead — and enables me to do so with single-minded dedication.
I have a plan for what comes next, but I can’t reveal the finer details of it. It would be unwise to tip off the powerful. But, in broad strokes, some things you can expect next include a dedicated website about the RSS, a multi-national investigation of the RSS abroad extending beyond the US, and possibly even a book about the RSS.

1. Through GoFundMe.com, where I am seeking to raise $20,000 immediately to lay the financial groundwork for the future. Since launching our fundraiser on 10 November, we have already raised over 45 percent of the goal.
Through Patreon.com, where I am working to build a list of committed monthly donors. In the past 12 days, we have grown our subscriber list to 64 patrons.
Or, on a one-time basis, through PayPal.com. In the past week, we have had 65 one-time donors step forward.
